Why Dundaga's wide, forested surroundings mean longer distances

The area around Dundaga is covered by extensive forest with scattered rural buildings - the village serves as an inland anchor for a wide stretch of coastline and countryside. That means distances between sites here are often greater than in a more compact town, and we plan callout times accordingly.

Dundaga Castle, built in the late 13th century, was for centuries the centre of the largest private manor estate in Kurzeme - the historic manor land around the castle means nearby properties can contain older construction, which we assess before starting any work.
